Moderator Rickey Eugene White is the son of the late Turner White and Evelyn White of Chesapeake, VA. He is married to the former Natalie Jackson of Richmond, VA., and they have three children: Candace Tinsley, and her husband; Minister Michael Tinsley; Courtney White, Cameron White; and one granddaughter, Mia N. Tinsley.

In high school, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Who's Who Among American High School Students and the Society for Distinguished American High School Students. At the University of Virgina, he served as President and Secretary of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a leader of M.A.G. (Me and God) Bible Study Group, a member of the Lambs of God Chorus and was the first recipient of the Clifford T. Bennett Scholarship Award.

Moderator White holds a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia and a Master of Divinity Degree cum laude from the Samuel D. Proctor School of Divinity at Virginia Union University. In 1984 and 1988 he was selected as an Outstanding Young Man of America. Pastor White was an elementary and middle school teacher in Greene County, Fluvanna County, and Albemarle County Public school systems from 1983 to 1999. In 1996 he was selected as an Outstanding American Educator. In 1998 he was elected Albemarle County Public School Teacher of the Year. In 1998 and 1999 he was honored as Who's Who Among American Educators. In 1999 Pastor White gave the opening prayer for the Virginia General Assembly at the Virginia State Capitol upon the request of Delegate Paul Harris.

Moderator White experienced a divine call to the ministry and was licensed to preach on May 20, 1979. He was ordained on February 26, 1983. He served as an Associate Minister of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Charlottesville, VA under the pastorate of Reverend Dr. E. G. Hall.

He is a member of the Charlottesville and Vicinity Ministerial Conference, African American Pastors' Council, 100 Black Men of Central VA, a board member of IMPACT (Interfaith Movement Promoting Action by Congregations Together) and a covenant pastor with Richard B. Peoples Ministries.

Minister Natalie WhiteHe has served as pastor of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Standardsville, VA, and the Zion Baptist Church in Dillwyn, VA. He was installed as Pastor of the Union Run Baptist Church, Shadwell, VA, on September 10, 1989 where he has served faithfully since that time. The experience has been invaluable for he has grown in all phases of ministry, and membership at Union Run continues to grow.

In 1995, Moderator White led the Church as they embarked upon a major building addition and renovation project. In 2009 the front entrance and and sanctuary were renovated. The following ministries have been established under his leadership: the Male Chorus, Mass Choir, Combined Choir, Praise Team, Senior Bible Study, Daughters of the King and Sons of Thunder Youth Ministries, School of Ministry and Christian Development, Tribal Ministries, Van Ministry, Men's and Women's Fellowship, Youth Church and the Keswick Community Senior Center.

Rev. White has a special anointing upon his life to minister to those who are oppressed. He ha ministered to thousands of people with hundreds giving their lives to the Lord. Many gifts of the Spirit operate in his life through the anointing of the Holy Ghost. People are engaged in worship and lives are being transformed. Christians are growing in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. The experience, anointing and the support of the ministry staff have caused Rev. White's ministry to grow from the Call to a continued response where people encounter the saving, healing and liberating power of God through the preached Word.
